Coaching courses offered in District 1
On Sunday, July 26, 2011, District 1 had our first Competitive Coaching Clinic with Mr. Carlos Menjivar. He is our CYSA Director of Coaching –Competitive. The topic was System of Play 1-3-5-2. Even though the clinic was on the same day of the Women’s Cup Final, we had an eager group of coaches that attended. We had a one hour classroom session in the Viking Office. After that we headed to the Polo Fields for the field session. It was a gorgeous day in the Polo Fields. I want to extend my appreciation to the two Mission teams and parents (Rebel Rams and United Sporting) that participated during the clinic. I also want to give my hats off to SF Rec and Park for the beautiful fields.
